A literature review in Pediatrics sought to understand more about the possible impacts.
Little is known about whether maternal vaccinations during pregnancy impact early childhood health outcomes in children. A literature review in Pediatrics sought to understand more about the possible impacts.
Of 3647 records, 9 met the inclusion criteria and all had a study period between 1980 and 2012. In these few studies, researchers found that in-utero exposure to an influenza vaccine was not linked to adverse outcomes in early childhood but emphasize the need for further research.
